Hyundai Santa Fe is getting a significant update. AtchaCars artist has released the 2021 Santa Fe rendering based on the recent shadowy teaser image.
The revised model adopts a unique design with T-shaped LED daytime running lights, a wider and flatter front grille which is a take-on of Hyundai’s latest Cascading pattern. The clusters have a horizontal setup instead of the previous vertical.
As the next Santa Fe switches to another platform, expect major changes at the rear and in the cabin. There should be many tweaks inside. Hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains are confirmed.
Hyundai will first launch the refreshed Santa Fe in the domestic market, then it goes on sale in Europe in early fall 2020. U.S customers will be able to find a new Santa Fe in the showrooms by the end of this year.
Expect the model’s official coming-out in the next few weeks.
The current 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe is priced between $26,125-39,425. It offers a comfortable interior, plenty of easy-to-use tech features, good fuel economy, a balanced ride. But the car’s handling and cargo space are not as good as some rivals’. Besides, the model has an underwhelming base engine.
The 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe’s has #1 ranking within the Mid-size SUV category of U.S. News and World Report. It won the 2020 Best 2-Row SUV for the Money award and was a finalist for the 2020 Best 2-Row SUV for Families award.
