The Fit project manager Takeki Tanaka says they do not plan to launch a sports modification of the Fit / Jazz Type R, so the Honda Civic will remain the only member of the Type R family for the time being.

The latest fourth generation 2020 Honda Fit / Jazz made its debut at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. The model comes in five different types for customers to select a suitable car depending on their lifestyle.
The hybrid version with a two-motor hybrid system is the first model in Honda’s lineup for Europe to wear the new “e:HEV” powertrain badging. European sales are set to start in mid-2020.
