What We Know About 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor

The high-performance 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor should arrive next year. It is now in the testing stage. More and more information about the model gradually appears, in particular, first official photos.

The Blue Oval has been working on the Ford Bronco Raptor. It will be launched in 2022 and join the F-150 Raptor in Ford’s high-performance off-road lineup. Some spy photos are already available, as well as the official photos posted by Bronco Nation.

Closer to the arrival date, Ford will share more details about the Bronco’s hot version. For now, let’s remember what we already know about the upcoming SUV.

Like the Ford F-150 Raptor, the Bronco Raptor will come with Fox’s Live Wire twin-tube bypass dampers which significantly increase ride height over the standard vehicle, and standard 35-inch or optional 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires.

It will have a grille with a “Ford” script like the F-150 Raptor’s, amber headlamps and marker lights, special taillights. Unlike the regular model, the appearance of the hot off-road Bronco will be more muscular, aggressive (wider stance, bulgy fender flares).

Expect a new color scheme, as in the case with the new F-150 Raptor, meaning Desert Sand, Eruption Green, Hot Pepper Red, Code Orange paints. Most likely, the Bronco Raptor model will be four-door only.

And of course, the Bronco’s EcoBoost 2.7-liter six-cylinder engine should be more powerful in the Raptor version: around 400 horsepower versus 330 horsepower of the usual Ford Bronco.
