What Toyota Tundra Trailhunter Is And What Offers

A Toyota Tundra Trailhunter Concept previews a series of highly capable purpose-built trucks and SUVs accessorized for outdoor enthusiasts.

The Toyota Tundra Trailhunter has been unveiled at the 2022 SEMA event. Vehicles of the Trailhunter lineup will come straight from the factory equipped with add-ons for off-roading and camping.

Trail-ready trucks will be designed in-house from the ground up by Toyota’s engineering teams.

The carmaker will share additional details next year. In the meantime, we can get an idea of the Trailhunter-badged vehicles by looking at the concept truck. It has a Trailhunter-specific suspension setup, roof rack, bumpers, lighting, skid plates, fridge, rooftop tent, and more.

Future products will get the equipment for base camp necessities, recovery gear, storage, and bearing loads.

The third-generation Tundra debuted last September and went into production in December 2021. The truck is available in several versions, including a new premium Tundra Capstone, or the SX Package. The main highlight of the Tundra is a new hybrid i-Force Max powertrain.

To the exclusion of lower-than-average payload ratings and cramped rear seats in the Double Cab variant, the 2023 Toyota Tundra is a great full-size pickup whose strengths include a brawny engine lineup, an upscale and comfy interior, refined handling and ride, and a user-friendly infotainment system.
