The Japanese automaker has updated the Toyota Corolla Hatchback for the 2023 model year.
The 2023 Toyota Corolla Hatchback got a number of upgrades. Most of the changes are the same as the Corolla Sedan’s, but there are also a few ones made exactly for the hatchback, Toyota reports.
Why You Should Consider a Corolla
The car is a great combination of quality and value, and it is no coincidence that this model is Toyota’s all-time best-seller.

What is so-so: a sluggish base engine (2.0-liter inline four-cylinder one producing 169 hp and 151 lb-ft).
There are better choices, like the Honda Civic, but the Corolla is a model to fall in love with once and for all. The Civic is costier, has a roomier trunk, a more potent and efficient turbocharged engine, zestier handling, and a higher-end cabin.
New 2023 Corolla
Exterior upgrades include a front grille, a rear bumper with silver accents, new DRL, new wheel designs, and refreshed color palette – Blue Crush Metallic and Inferno replaced Galactic Aqua Mica and Blue Flame.
Improvements are made on the side of tech + comfort +convenience: there is more versatile next-generation 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system, new Proactive Driving Assist with Obstacle Anticipation Assist and Deceleration Assist features, availability of Smart Key for more trim lrevels, new interior accents, and, in addition – Safety Connect and Service Connect with up to a 10-year trial subscription for all Corolla models.

- GR Corolla – $36,995
- Corolla Cross – $23,540.
