Recently a trio of new all-electric Jeep SUVs has been unveiled. Jeep also has revealed its plan to become a leader in global SUV electrification.
By 2025, four all-electric Jeep SUVs will be launched in North America and Europe.
Jeep showed three of them on its YouTube channel on September 8, 2022: two global models – Recon and Wagoner S, as well as one model for Europe called “Avenger”.
The YouTube community has accepted the new Jeeps enthusiastically, judging by multiple positive comments.
These 4×4 battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) are accurately recognizable as Jeeps, plus they are eco-friendly zero-emission ones.
What Are They, Upcoming All-Electric Jeep SUVs?
The Jeep Recon
Designed from the ground up for off-roading adventures, this vehicle is a pioneer of the all-electric Jeep SUV lineup in North America.
It comes with aggressive off-road tires, e-locker axle tech, Jeep Selec-Terrain traction management system, underbody protection, tow hooks, removable doors and glass, a one-touch powertop, and the latest Uconnect system with detailed travel guides of notable off-road trails.
Jeep Wagoneer S
In addition to the unique aerodynamic exterior design with a signature LED-lit grille, the model (in the upper picture) offers outstanding performance: 600 horsepower, 400 miles of range on a single charge, and 3.5 seconds of the 0-60 mph acceleration time.
The public will see both the Jeep Recon and Jeep Wagoneer S live in all their glory in 2023. They will be available for reservations early next year and go into production in North America in 2024. Jeep will sell them worldwide, including in the European market.
Jeep Avenger
This compact SUV features a spacious cabin packed with new technologies, impressive break-over and approach angles, high ground clearance, and a 400-km driving range.
It sits below the Jeep Renegade and lands in European dealerships in early 2023. The vehicle will also arrive in South Korea and Japan. Stellantis’ plant in Tychy, Poland will be a production site for this model.
Its debut will take place at the Paris Motor Show on October 17, 2022, and reservations will open the same day.
Inspired by the success of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe (bestseller among America’s plug-in hybrids) and the Grand Cherokee 4xe, the company will continue developing its electrified 4xe portfolio.
By 2030, half of Jeep’s sales in the USA and all sales of the brand in Europe will be battery-electric vehicles.
