Global sales of Volvo in April 2019 continued to grow at a steady pace. The increase in demand has been observed in all markets. The Volvo XC60 SUV remains the brand’s best-seller.
Sales volumes of Volvo cars steadily increase from month to month. They reached 56,535 units In April, adding 7.4% to the result of the same period last year.
In the period from January to April, Volvo sales amounted to 217,855 vehicles, 8.9% more compared with the same period of 2018.
The demand grew in all regions: in China in January-April – by 7.3%, in the USA – by 7.1%, in Europe – by 8.1%.
In April 2019, the Volvo XC60 crossover (pictured) remained the best-selling model with 16,545 vehicles sold (2018: 14,840 units). It is followed by the Volvo XC40 – 10,801 cars (2018: 5,554 units) and the Volvo XC90 – 7,954 cars (2018: 7,241 units).
