In the USA, the entire Volvo lineup of the 2023 model year will consist of mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric vehicles coming with Google built-in as standard.
Volvo’s 2023 MY range in America will include exclusively electrified vehicles – hybrids and EVs. By 2030, the company will abandon hybrids, leaving only pure electric cars in the lineup.
Such Volvo models as the V60 Cross Country, the XC40, and XC90 crossovers are now being equipped with standard mild-hybrid engines badged B4, B5, and B6. As for plug-in hybrid models, they will have a traditional gasoline engine and offer electric driving in Pure mode.
Google built-in, with Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play, rolls out for all 2023 Volvos, and it is already standard on the XC60, S90, V90 Cross Country, C40 Recharge, and XC40 Recharge. The 2023 Volvo vehicles will receive and install software upgrades over the air.
Moreover, several Volvo models, namely the V60, V60 Cross Country, and S60, have got styling refreshments: a new front grille design, revised rear bumpers, new colors and wheels, and leather-free interior materials.
As Volvo eliminates trim levels across the entire lineup, purchasers get a chance to freely combine the interior trim, exterior design, and the equipment of their choice.
The carmaker has already begun to produce the 2023 Volvo lineup. Customers can order and reserve their Volvo online.
