The Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet begins entering the European markets under the slogan “Accept no roof!”. In Germany the prices start from €27,495.
German customers can place orders.
The soft top is all-automatic and opens in 9 seconds. It can close and open even while the vehicle is in a move at speeds up to 30 km/h. The top has electro-hydraulic locking/unlocking.
The base equipment of the front-wheel-drive 2+2-seater T-Roc Cabriolet includes 17-inch Mayfield alloy wheels, background lighting in white, chrome elements in the cabin and iexterior ones; an air conditioner, Lane Assist, Front Assist (AEB), Driver Alert; the Infotainment system Composition, two USB-C ports at the front and a mobile phone interface.
Two efficient petrol (gasoline) TSI turbo engines power the VW T-Roc Cabriolet: a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder 115-hp (85 kW) unit and a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder 150-hp (110 kW) one.
The first comes in pair with a 6-speed manual transmission only. The second can be either with the MT as standard or with an optional 7-speed automatic dual clutch gearbox.
Trims and prices
Two trims are available in Germany: the base Style priced at €27,495 and the sports R-Line from €32,810 with certain dictinctive features like darkened tail light clusters, sporty seats and steering, etc.
The Black Style design package is available as option (extra €550), as well as a removable mounting bracket for €775 added in case the 280-liter cargo space is not enough.
