Volkswagen ID.3 Already Reserved By 30,000 Customers

Volkswagen has received over 30,000 reservations for its first model from the new all-electric family – ID.3 1st Edition.

Besides, more than 100,000 fans of the model have registered for the ID.3 newsletter. So, the car is not still debuted, but already shows a high demand level.

The forthcoming IAA in Frankfurt will be the place of its official premiere.

Most of pre-orders are made by people in Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Great Britain. A possibility to place an order for the limited ID.3 launch edition (with a registration deposit of €1,000) has existed since May 2019.

Today they keep accepting reservations. Production will start at the end of this year. First deliveries to customers will begin in mid-2020.

As for pricing, in Germany the base model will cost under €30,000 (MRRP).

The Volkswagen ID.3 1ST Edition, which driving range is 261 mi (420 km) according to (WLTP, is priced under €40,000 (before the state subsidy deduction).

Purchasers of this special version will also get free-of-charge electric power for 12 months up to a max 2,000 kWh at all public charging points connected to VW’s WeCharge charging app or the IONITY pan-European fast charging network.

Customers will receive their cars with a neutral carbon balance. The Volkswagen ID.3 is the first model on which the brand’s new logo debuts.
