The Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet open-top crossover will soon arrive at dealerships. The only such model of the brand is produced at the automotive factory in Osnabrück.
The production of the new T-Roc convertible crossover has started at the Volkswagen plant in Osnabrück. To organize the production, assembly and logistics, the VAG Group invested 20 million euros.
At the moment, this is the only production open-top model of the German brand. Moreover, the SUV convertible has no direct competitors.
There is almost same-sized Range Rover Evoque Convertible on the market, but it belongs to the premium class and should not take customers away from the T-Roc Cabriolet.
The base Volkswagen T-Roc is well bought in Europe. According to the sales result for the first three quarters of 2019, the model became the third in the small SUV segment.
Moreover, the T-Roc goes much ahead of its closest pursuer – the French Peugeot 2008. Almost 160,000 Europeans have already become owners of Volkswagen’s new crossover this year.
Speaking about the new Volkswagen SUVs, we can’t help mentioning the smallest SUV of the brand – the subcompact T-Cross. The model is just entering the market, but it has very good prospects in Europe.
By the way, in the UK it costs from £17,395 (on-the-road price). The price of the main competitor, the Renault Captur, starts from £15,730.
