Skoda adds a new pioneering digital voice assistant named Laura to its Simply Clever features. It is already available on the new Scala, Kamiq, Superb iV, Octavia.
Laura understands natural speech in 15 languages, and even some dialects: Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Greek, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Spanish and Turkish.
She helps the driver control several vehicle functions by voice. This voice assistant is activated with the words ‘Okay, Laura!’ and comes among the functions of a top Amundsen infotainment system.
Laura is a driver’s companion. In the vehicle, call, navigation and infotainment functions are operated by the voice control.
At home, customers can get info about the car’s status from the smart assistants Alexa or Google Home, and send it directly to the vehicle.
Laura will be on all upcoming Skoda models.
In the future, customers will be able to use extended voice control applications outside the car, in other Skoda related areas: mobile or web apps, an online configurator.
Today Laura is provided on importers’ websites in Spain. Later she will be available on importers’ sites in other countries.
