General Motors is teasing with a global reveal of the GMC Hummer EV SUV again.
The automaker has released two fresh teasers, a little informative but much intriguing, to spur the interest in the SUV spin-off of the GMC EV pickup truck.
The GMC Hummer EV SUV is almost on the doorstep. The teasers show a darkened silhouette of the SUV with a spare tire on the tailgate and invite seeing the digital world premiere on April 3, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
From the same date, the vehicle will be available for reservation.
The SUV will likely adopt the truck’s front fascia, powertrains, interior design, and, we suppose, it will be a three-row vehicle for 7-8 occupants.
Expect a driving range of 350 miles, a tri-motor setup good for 1000 hp, and a 0-60-mph acceleration of around 3.0 seconds.
What we are really interested in is the price: whether it will be below $100,000 at launch, given the Hummer EV Edition 1 pickup costs $112,595.
