Hyundai has made a mid-cycle refresh of the Santa FE SUV.
It moved to a new platform giving possibility to add electrified powertrains.
Visual changes include new 20-inch alloy wheels, the optics, a grille that offers different patterns now. The LED daytime running lights are incorporated in a “T” shape.
At the rear, there is a new light bar extending over the entire width of the tailgate, a new reflector, a revised skid plate.
The 2021 Santa Fe’s reworked center console offers more storage in the lower area. A new feature – the Terrain Mode selector – automatically detects the driving style and selects the optimal driving mode on its own, when activated.
The car adopts a shift-by-wire system. It lets integrate gear shift buttons in the floating center console.
Now the 2021 Santa Fe boasts a 10.25-inch infotainment screen plus an all-digital 12.3-inch driver’s display. Soft-touch materials cover the cabin.
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe will enter the European market in September. The U.S.-spec model should follow not far after. Details about the engines will be revealed closer the the launch date.
