At SEMA 2019, Toyota is showcasing several new editions of the GR Supra, as well as TRD versions of the Avalon and Camry sedans.
In 2019, Toyota Racing Development (TRD) celebrates its 40th anniversary. To commemorate this, the company has worked up TRD modifications of the popular models.
The Toyota Avalon and Camry now have TRD versions. Both are powered by Toyota’s famous 3.5-liter 301-hp DOHC V6 and 8-speed automatic gearbox with a sport mode and paddle shifters.
The engine breathes easier with a specially-tuned cat-back dual exhaust, giving the cars a throatier idle and acceleration sound.
The Camry TRD and Avalon TRD have joined the 2020 GR Supras in the Toyota display booth at the 2019 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show taking place these days (November 5-8) in Las Vegas.
This year, Toyota’s display at SEMA includes:
- GRudge Match
- GR Supra Heritage Edition
- GR Supra HyperBoost Edition
