The 2020 Toyota Camry with AWD costs from $27,325 including the destination charge. All configurations with all-wheel-drive add $1400 to a price tag.
It is about the Nightshade models and the LE, SE, XLE, XSE trims. U.S. prices within the range lie between 27,325-32,360 USD, namely: $27,325 for the LE, $28,525 for the SE, $31,810 for the XLE, $32,360 for the XSE and $29,225 for the Nightshade.
They all are $1400 more expensive than the respective front-wheel-drive models. For comparison: The entry-level Camry LE FWD starts at $25,925.
Along with the Camry sedan, Toyota offers this all-wheel drive system based on a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine for the RAV4 crossover and the 2021 Avalon sedan (XLE and Limited trims).
On the Camry, to help save fuel, about half torque is transmitted to the rear wheels. When the all-wheel drive is not necessary, power can be cut off from the rear wheels to make this front-wheel drive.
The Toyota Avalon goes on sale in the fall of 2020. The 2020 Toyota Camry will be available already this spring.
