On the eve of Halloween, we’ve made a selection of the most terrible, in our opinion, cars of all time, and tried to imagine whom they resemble.
Land Submarine – Phantom Corsair
It is a crossbread of a deep-sea moray with a submarine. The Phantom Corsair concept is a six-seater coupe built in 1938. Probably in the dark, seeing such a monster in the rearview mirror, it may seem that you fell into the dark ocean waters.
The front part of the Lamborghini Veneno supercar is incredibly similar to the sullen frown face of the fairy-tale Transformer from the comic book.
The headlights on only enhance this effect. The rear looks more like a Darth Vader image.
Spiderman’s Car – Mercedes-Benz SSK Trossi Roadster
This sports car with a compressor engine of Mercedes-Benz is called the Mercedes-Benz SSK Trossi Roadster. It was produced in the period from 1927 to 1933. Athough this is one of the first cars in the world with combination of luxury, comfort and sportiness, it’s hard not to notice its similarity with a black spider. Such a creepy and attractive appearance!
Blade on wheels – Ferrari 612 Can Am
In truth, many Ferraris look ominous in the rearview mirror. The Ferrari 612 Can Am creates a feeling as if it is from the “Death Race” movie.
It is difficult not to look at such a vehicle on the road: firstly, because of its unusual rarity, and, secondly, fearing to be lifted into the air by this wedge-shaped motorized weapon.
Grinning Hippos – Buick Super and Holden Efijy
What could be more American than Buick, wiith such a ‘smile’ in addition? Looking at these ‘bulging eyes and grin’, one immediately remembers either a sperm whale, or some kind of cartoon beetle.
The Australian Holden Efijy is beautiful with some kind of hippo aesthetics. Muscular-bloated, it seems to show teeth for all to be afraid.
Gloomy supercars – Zenvo ST1 and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
Many supercars have evil looks. The darkest and frowning modern supercars today, perhaps, are the Danish Zenvo ST1 and the ‘looking frowningly’ Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Armadillo – IAT Kalman
The Chinese IAT Kalman SUV has an awesome appearance. It was created in 2016 and shown at the Beijing Auto Show.
Similar to the ‘stealth’ F-117 Nighthawk bomber, this SUV is terrifying to someone by its ugliness, but for someone it looks incredibly stylish. The most terrible thing about this car is not its ‘rear-up skin’ but the price tag. After all, this monster costs $2 million.
