Find here the TOP 10 new cars which their owners most often get rid of after just one year of ownership.
An online car search engine iSeeCars (helps consumers find the best car deals in the US car market) has made an interesting research. It revealed that only 3.4% car owners resell their vehicles as secondhand within the first 12 months of ownership. Luxury cars are more frequently given up.
iSeeCars studied 46 million individual new car sales and found out how many of those vehicles were resold, already as used ones, during a year after purchase, with at least 1,000 miles on the odometer.
8 of 10 models in this ranking belong to British and German luxury brands. Nissan turned out to be the only non-premium marque whose two models are represented here.
Now then, the TOP 10 New Cars Given Up Most Often Within the First Year of Ownership is:
|Rank||Model||% Resold As Used Within the First Year|
|2||BMW 3 Series||11.8|
|3||Land Rover Discovery Sport||11.8|
|4||Land Rover Range Rover Evoque||10.9|
|8||Nissan Versa Note||9.0|
Average for all cars: 3.4%.
