Volkswagen Polo became a sales leader on the British auto market in October. The Tesla Model 3, which surprisingly was a top-selling vehicle in September, has not even entered the TOP 10 Best Sellers.
Models go tightly one by one in the latest TOP 10 Best Sellers in the UK, so the leadership can be considered conditional. While the best-selling Volkswagen Polo had 3,167 registrations in October, the Hyundai Tucson, which took the tenth place, recorded 1,849 sales, according to SMMT.
It should be noted the British market in October seriously declined: a little more than 106,000 sales against 141,000 a year earlier.
Let’s return to the TOP 10. Again, the ranking is headed by the Volkswagen Polo followed by the MINI and the Nissan Qashqai. The Ford Focus is the fourth, the Vauxhall Corsa is the fifth. By the way, the latter is the most popular vehicle in the country this year.
The Kia Niro, Volvo XC40, Mercedes A-Class, Peugeot 2008, and the aforementioned Hyundai Tucson are in the second half of the TOP 10 best sellers of Great Britain.
The Tesla Model 3 which led in September and the Volkswagen Golf which was the European best seller for years are not in the TOP 10 of October 2021.
