The year 2022 is the last one for a number of car models. Each of them has its own market story and its own role played. Vehicles of Mercedes, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Acura, Toyota, and other brands – they die in 2022 to give way to newcomers.
Automakers regularly update their lineups, and the outdated or unpopular models have to leave to make room for more modern alternatives or because of low sales. Well, let’s see which vehicles are discontinued for 2023 in North America.










Some vehicles, like the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, or the Nissan Qashqai called Rogue Sport in the USA will continue to exist in other markets in one form or another.
The Toyota Avalon is replaced by the 2023 Toyota Crown. The Honda Insight receives a replacement – the new Civic Hybrid. The Hyundai Veloster lineup, except for the sporty Veloster N, was axed in 2021. This year has become the final for the N version.
The gas-powered Ioniq says “Goodbye”, but its nameplate remains on the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 BEVs. The Chevy Trax (upper photo) dies for 2023, but it will revive later as an all-new 2024 model.
