The Pre-series Ford Ranger Raptor Is Being Testes In New Zealand

Ford has released a promo video, which showed testing pre-series Ranger Raptor in the mountains of New Zealand. On the video you can see how the pick up truck moves at high speed along the rocky surface, crosses the ford and rides along the dirt road through the hills.

Currently, the model is represented only in the markets of the Asia-Pacific region, for example, Australia. The pickup is equipped with a diesel two-liter twin-turbo V4 engine with a capacity of 213 hp (500 Nm) and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The equipment of the Ford Ranger Raptor includes a special off-road Fox suspension with increased strokes, more powerful brakes with 332 mm disks, 17-inch wheels with BF Goodrich off-road tires and reinforced bottom protection.

There is also a special operating mode of the control electronics – Baja, which is designed for high-speed driving through the desert.
