The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ flagship supercar will be unveiled in August 2018 at the Monterey Car Week. Some teasers from the Nurburging are now available on the eve of its official reveal.
Judging by the new images the car is green-coloured. To improve performance, the SVJ version got a full aerodynamic overhaul.
It features a deeper front wing, wider side skirts, motorsport-styled single center nuts on the wheels, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres, as well as Lamborghini’s ALA 2.0 active aerodynamics system.
At the rear there is a new huge wing and high-mounted exhaust seen on the Lamborghini Huracan Performante. The air intakes with Titanium valves are enlarged to feed a 6.5-liter 12-cylinder motor which develops from 740 to 771 hp and 720Nm of torque.
The chassis and suspension are set for extra power. The car is claimed to have the best power to weight ratio – 1.98 kg/hp.
The letter J in the SVJ name (Superveloce Jota) have been used for Lamborghini’s most aggressive and exclusive cars. These elite group includes the Miura and Diablo, and now the Aventador SVJ joins them.
