Tesla is finalizing the Model Y testing on the road and readying it for production and delivery.
It has increasingly begun to catch people’s eyes in various locations, including on Tesla’s test track in Fremont, California.
A Twitter user even has posted that he saw the Model Y in production while driving near the Tesla factory. All this marks the delivery time is coming soon.
Recently the company announced the all-electric crossover will arrive prior to the end of Q1 2020, that is, next month. In addition, as InsideEVs informs, Tesla has just commenced to send a message to reservation holders informing about the start of deliveries in March.
The Tesla Model Y is designed to be the safest mid-size SUV. The vehicle comes in Standard Range, Long Range, Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive and Performance variants. The starting price is $39,000.
The high-efficiency powertrain and ultra-responsive motors provide 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of up to 150 mph (240 km/h). The Model Y’s standard battery enables 230 miles (370 km) of range, while the long range battery allows up to 300 miles (483 km).
