Tesla has released record sales figures for the 1st quarter of 2020. Meantime, the Cybertruck is on the way to hit one million reservations before its launch in 2021.
From January to March 2020, the company manufactured almost 103,000 and delivered 88,400 vehicles. This is the best ever first quarter in Tesla history.
The Model Y went into production in January, deliveries started in March, ahead of schedule. Tesla’s Shanghai factory continues to achieve record levels of production, despite the COVID-19 issue.
According to the latest info from Cybertruck Owner Club and Worldwide Cybertruck Reservation Tracker, the Tesla Cybertruck pre-orders are now estimated at 622,000, and they keep coming, around 1,000 per day.
Probably, such consumer activism is because a person needs to pay just $100 to reserve a Cybertruck. For comparison: the Ford Mustang Mach-E pre-order requires $500.
