The Tesla Model Y is No.1 vehicle by sales in the European EV market this summer, and in general, Tesla is a dominant brand there.
Today the Tesla Model Y crossover is the most popular electric vehicle in Europe, far ahead of competitors, while the Model 3 sedan is the third by sales. The new all-electric FIAT 500 is slotted between those two.
In figures, the European TOP 3 best-selling EVs looks like this: Tesla Model Y – nearly 17,000 sales, FIAT 500 – 7,269 sales, Tesla Model 3 – 6,176 sales.
These data are sale results in June 2022 according to JATO Dynamics. The Peugeot-e-208 and the Skoda ENYAQ follow after the mentioned trio.
The Tesla Model Y holds the No.1 position, and the Model 3 is the second in the European EV market in the first half of 2022.
By the way, both are in high demand in China too. The Model Y headed the list of EV bestsellers in June 2022 there and it is in 3rd place by sales from January to June 2022. The Model 3 is only 6th in China in H1, but this is also a good result for a car in the world’s largest car market.
Well, let’s return to Europe. Volkswagen’s ID.3 and ID.4 have strong sales. Renault’s Zoe and Twingo ZE are among the TOP 10 leaders, as well as the Hyundai Kona Electric.
