Elon Musk has tweeted that the Tesla Model S Plaid is their best car ever, the 1st production car to achieve 0-60 mph in under 2.0 seconds and to provide seating to 7.
We must admit that apart from its pleasant look, the Model S is a truly capable vehicle. It can beat a number of sports cars and even super cars over the quarter-mile. Now Tesla confirms the sedan will offer three rows of seats and room for seven people.
Earlier the Tesla Model S versions had two optional jump seats in the back, large enough to fit kids only. The manufacturer discontinued that option later. Then Tesla introduced a three-row Model Y, and soon the 7-seater Model S joins.
Previously, Elon Musk suggested that the pair of rearmost seats would be big enough to fit adults. We could get a glimpse of the two front-facing third-row seats in the back of the refreshed Model S once caught by a drone.
Well, with or without the third-row seats, the Tesla Model S Plaid is a promising offering.
