The Tesla Model 3, most popular electric car of the year, has been first presented in Europe at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. It will enter the European market in 2019.
Strangely enough, this is an official debut of the car at an international auto show, as previously only special presentations were held.
The Model 3 is the most in-demand Tesla in 2018. The company delivered to customers the record number of cars in September.
In Paris they are showcasing the car with a 75-kWh battery and the driving range of 500 km.
Initially three versions will be available in Europe: a standard rear-wheel drive one with a single 271-horsepower engine, a twin-engine all-wheel drive modification of 346 hp and a top Performance sedan with two motors and 450-hp total output. The latter accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
European sales of the Tesla Model 3 will start in 2019. Later, a more affordable version will a 50-kWh battery will arrive too.
