Tesla opened the order books for Chinese customers just two days ago, and can already boast thousands of reservations.
Tesmanian website reports there were 20,000 orders for China-made Model 3s in the last 24 hours alone.
Mainly it is about the RWD Long Range version priced at ¥339,050 ($48,170) after subsidies, and the AWD Performance variant that costs ¥419,800 ($59,643).
Tesmanian revealed ten orders in one minute. Chinese customers from different cities placed them at 4:35 PM Beijing time on April 11, 2020.
This is a great result for Tesla, if only we can consider the information to be accurate, especially, taking into account China has just started to restore after the coronavirus.
