From January through March 2021, Tesla delivered record 184,800 vehicles worldwide.
So, the company beat the previous high mark of 180,570 units delivered in the 4th quarter of 2020. Compared to targeted numbers of 160,000-188,000 cars, the actual delivery result turns out to be excellent.
Here are the figures in graphics:
Tesla lists Model 3 and Y deliveries at 182,780 units, largely due to the strong success of the Model Y in China.
The Model S and X deliveries hit only 2,020 vehicles, but it should be taken into account that the manufacturer produced no (zero) Model S / X in Q1 2021.
The company is readying to launch the updated Model X and S on the market later this year. This will apparently lead to one more profitable quarter for Tesla.
