Tesla Cybertruck Reservations Are Approaching One Million

Reservations of the Tesla Cybertruck are rapidly approaching one million units. Nearly 800,000 customers have already reserved their vehicles.

The deposit is only $100 and fully refundable. That’s true, not all reservation will convert to real sales. But even if half of them convert, the manufacturer may have a production backlog of 3-4 years…

Reserving a Cybertruck today means you may wait a 2025 or 2026 delivery.

Furthermore, the Chinese joined to reservation holders: last month, Tesla began taking pre-orders in China.

Pickup trucks are not as popular in that country as in the USA. Nevertheless, China is the world’s second-largest market for pickups, not to mention the growing demand for commercial trucks and electric cars.

According to a recent survey, the Tesla Cybertruck is the third most popular pickup. One out of five current truck owners intents to choose the Cybertruck as the next pickup purchase.

Besides, when new and new features are added to the model (Full Self Driving, in particular), demand for it will apparently grow.
