The Tesla Model Y crossover utility vehicle (CUV) is based on the Model 3 platform. Deliveries to U.S. customers have started this month (March 13), in a year after the official debut. The pricing is between $39,000-60,990.
The range-topping Model Y Performance version was involved in the races. Its claimed EPA-estimated range is 315 miles (507 km), WLTP range is 298 miles (480 km); the top speed is 145 mph (233 km/h), 0-97 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time is 3.5 sec.
