A famous presenter Alexandra Mary Hirschi known as “Supercar Blondie” has tried a BMW i4 Concept at the company’s headquarters in Munich.
The video posted by Alexandra gives us a proper idea and reveals some interesting facts of BMW’s second pure electric car it will bring to market next year.
We are promised that a production version will be almost similar to the concept, and even the notable wheels will carry over unchanged.
Among the highlights of the i4 there is a huge curved infotainment screen merging into the digital instrument panel, as well its single 395-kW (530 hp, 537 PS) electric motor.
The car’s “own visionary and unique sound” developed by composer Hans Zimmer substitutes the sound of an internal combustion engine. A 80-kWh battery allows to cover 270 mi / 434.5 km (EPA) or 373 mi / 600 km (WLTP) on a single charge.
BMW presented the concept car online on March 3. Its public premiere should have taken place at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, but, as we know, the organizers canceled it due to the coronavirus outbreak.
