The world premiere will take place on March 30 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
The Outback is the most capable vehicle in the Subaru lineup. With a new Wilderness Package, it will become more off-road and rugged. After this package debuts on Subaru Outback, it will be also available on the Forester and Crosstrek SUVs by the end of 2021.
The latest teaser photo from Subaru shows black wheels with Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires, orange Outback badging, and prominent side skirts.
The Wilderness package should feature suspension upgrades, black six-spoke wheels covered with off-road rubber, LED fog lights, blacked-out trim and bright-color accents.
Expect the Subaru Outback Wilderness will come with a 260-hp 2.4-liter turbo-four with EPA-rated 23 mpg city/30 highway. That engine is mated to a CVT and standard AWD.
