Skoda has reported its sales in December and the entire 2019. It was the 6th year in a row when the Czech automaker globally delivered over one million vehicles – 1.24 mln in total.
The overall sales result is one percent below 2018 (1.25 mln) caused by decline on the Chinese car market. In the rest of the world, Skoda could increase deliveries.
The year of 2019 was record for the company in terms of sales in Europe (+5.8%) and Russia (+8.8%).
In December, there were 114,700 deliveries: plus 9.1 percent to the result of December 2018.
As for models, the most in-demand vehicle in 2019 was the Skoda Octavia again, followed by the Fabia and Kodiaq:
- Octavia (363,700 units,-6.3 %);
- Fabia (172,800 units, -9.5 %);
