Skoda Has Started The Production Of Its Upgraded 2019 Fabia

Skoda has put into production the upgraded 2019 Skoda Fabia at its plant in in Mladá Boleslav. 5 month passed after its debut at the Auto Show in Geneva. Despite constant expansion of Skoda’s line-up, this model remains the company’s third bestseller. It is already available for order.

After facelifting the experior features LED optics (first for the Fabia). The main changes occurred in the technical part. Now the model has Blind Spot Detection, Rear Traffic Alert and Light Assist systems, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The new Skoda Fabia is offered with the brand’s Swing infotainment system, including a 6.5-inch screen and an optional Amundsen navigation module, real-time traffic information. As claimed, the Fabia’s level of safety is like on higher-end cars now.

Diesel motor will not enter the model’s range any more. It is equipped with four 1.0-liter petrol engines: 2 MPI and 2 TSI, which develop 60, 75 95 and 110 hp.

Skoda sells its Fabia in Europe and some Asian regions since its introduction in 1999, both as a hatchback and a wagon. The current generation is built of the PQ26 architecture, the same as the Volkswagen Polo has.
