The 2021 Lexus IS reaches dealerships in October 2020. Its base has risen, but the IS350 F Sport version is cheapened.
The Lexus IS got bolder exterior styling for 2021, the chassis and interior received minor updates.
Lexus remains the same powertrains – a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine and a 3.5-liter V6 in two tunings, but rearanged the trim levels.
The most powerful IS350 grade with a 311-hp V6 now comes standard with the F Sport package (optional before). It is priced at $43,925 – $2475 cheaper than the same-level 2020 model.
Less powerful IS300 models wont’ offer that package anymore. A $2000 all-wheel drive is an option.
The base Lexus IS300 RWD starts at $40,025 (plus $440 to the previous price). It is available with a 241-hp turbo-four engine.
The 2021 IS300 AWD version got another engine – a 3.5-liter 260-hp six-cylinder one.
Rear-wheel-drive IS300 and IS350 vehicles come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel-drive cars offer a six-speed automatic one.
