Which cars will be the stars at this-year Frankfurt Motor Show? Let’s preview.
The IAA in Frankfurt am Main will be held in September 12-22, 2019. The event is important for Europe’s brands, especially the German ones: BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen.
The German Association of the Automotive Industry is the show organizer. It takes place at the Messe Frankfurt Exhibition Centre, which is able to accommodate thousands of visitors.
Automakers have prepared their new products to be showcased there. What are they?
Audi will present aggressive-looking high-performance RS models – the 6 Avant and the Q3 Sportback;
The third-gen BMW X6 coupe-SUV and the BMW Vision M Next hybrid sports car are the exhibits from BMW;
Cupra (SEAT’s sporty sub-brand) will show an all-electric concept that inherited technology from the el-Born concept hatchback;
A production version of the Honda e, a retro-styled all-electric city car, will try to please the show visitors;
A revised version of the Hyundai i10 city car will express itself as the most technology-laden vehicle in the class;
The long-awaited well-publicized new Land Rover Defender will make its official debut at the event;
Porsche takes the all-electric Taycan sedan to Frankfurt. It is claimed to beat the Tesla Model S, when arrives;
Opel (Vauxhall) has readied several products for the show: the all-new subcompact Corsa and the Corsa-e, the Astra facelift and the updated Opel Grandland X Hybrid4 plug-in;
The all-electric Volkswagen ID.3 hatchback (VW e-Golf’s alternative) in its production variant will make its first official appearance in public.
