Cadillac informs that pre-orders for the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition sold out in a few minutes.
Reservation banks for the all-new pure electric Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition – the only available version for today – opened yesterday and are already full. So, they opened on September 18 and closed 19 minutes after opening.
Other trim levels will follow. The carmaker says about the extraordinary initial response for the model. Customers will be able to order more vehicles through the brand’s dealer network starting from next summer.
The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition comes only with rear-wheel drive. Its price starts at 59,990 USD and $69,898 CAD, including a destination charge, before taxes, title, license, other fees and charges. Cadillac’s website offers a feature sheet specifically for the Debut Edition.
The Lyriq has a large 100-kWh battery, GM’s Super Cruise driver-assist tech, provides 340 hp of power and an estimated driving range of more than 300 miles. The car comes with an onboard 19.2-kW alternating current charger. It can also charge on direct current at up to 190 kW.
