The first Porsche Cayenne was produced 18 years ago. This fall, the manufacturer built its one millionth Cayenne.
This model is the first off-road and four-door Porsche and, since 1995, it is also the first vehicle of the brand with a V8 engine.
The vehicle has three generations. The latest one on the Volkswagen Group’s MLB plaform made its online debut as a 2019 model on August 29, 2017.

The Porsche Cayenne Coupe joined a regular SUV variant in 2019, after its reveal at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. There were two versions at launch – the Cayenne Coupé and Cayenne Turbo Coupé.
Sales of the Porsche Cayenne in North America begin in 2003. The new 2021 Porsche Cayenne costs between $67,500 and $166,200. In the luxury midsize SUV segment, it is one of the top performers with plenty of positives.
However, experts found some flaws in this great car, including a small cargo hold, distracting console and dashboard controls, as well as a high base price.
