To make new and pre-owned cars immediately available, Porsche has created its own digital sales channel.
Anytime, anywhere, customers can easy buy a vehicle on an online marketplace, though for authentication and conclusion of the final contract, a buyer should go to a Porsche Centre, so far.
The sale procedure at the dealer will be much simpler and faster in case the customer carries out the main steps of a car purchase online.
For today, the carmaker opens its digital sales platform together with 88 Porsche Centers in Germany. More than 4,000 vehicles are available now for online ordering.
After the launch in the brand’s homeland, this service will be spread Europe-wide in 2020.
Porsche also provides digital retail in the United States. 25 of 191 dealerships in the country currently offer in-stock new and certified pre-owned cars through the online pilot.
Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG says:
We will continue to expand our overall digital ecosystem and, in addition to vehicles, also offer Porsche-specific mobility products and services worldwide.
The product range is available to customers via www.porsche.de.
There they can make reservation and choose between cash purchase or leasing, as well as get a no-obligation leasing offer from Porsche Financial Services or a trade-in variant.
To pay pre-orders, clients can connect their existing payment method to the Porsche ID.
