The new Porsche 911 Carrera in coupe and cabriolet versions has joined the 8-generation model lineup.
The car is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder Boxer engine producing 283 kW (385 hp). It offers 11 kW (15 hp) more power than before. The unit work in pair with a new dual-clutch gearbox (PDK).
The Porsche 911 Carrera Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds and speeds up to max 293 km/h (182 mph). The optional Sport Chrono package makes acceleration time 0.2 seconds shorter.
Combined fuel consumption (NEDC) of the 911 Carrera Coupé is 9.0 l/100 km (26 mpg), while the 911 Carrera Cabriolet has record 9.2 l/100km (25.6 mpg).
Premium features remain: an upscale interior, a 10.9-inch touchscreen, versatile connectivity, innovative driver assistance systems including Wet Mode.
The Porsche 911 Carrera Coupé has smaller wheels and suitable brakes, as well as an individual-size exhaust pipe.
Driving dynamics is provided by 19-inch 235/40 ZR alloy wheels (front axle) and 20-inch 295/35 ZR ones (rear axle). Braking power is distributed on both axles by 330-mm brakes with black four-piston fixed calipers.
