This November, five new vehicles are exhibited by Porsche at the LA Auto Show: Taycan GTS and GTS Sport Turismo, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS and GT4 RS Clubsport, the Panamera Platinum Edition.
Porsche brings five new products, high-performance and special edition ones, to the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens for the public on November 19 and lasts till November 28, 2021. The Porsche Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo are among them.
The Taycan GTS (upper photo) with a distinctive appearance is the first version of the model to hit a 500 km (311 mi) mark (WLTP figure). With a Launch Control, the car achieves 440 kW (598 HP). The carmaker specifically adapted the optional rear-axle steering and the chassis.
The Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo is the model’s third body variant. The car’s roofline tilted towards the rear, sporty silhouette, functional cargo space of over 1,200 liters (42.38 cubic feet) under the tailgate are the same as the Taycan Cross Turismo’s.
Both new versions of the Tacan will arrive at dealers in spring 2022.
The hot Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS flagship features lightweight construction, agile chassis tuning, refined aerodynamics and an exclusive soundtrack. Under the hood, there is a naturally aspirated 6-cylinder boxer engine that produces 368 kW (500 HP) and up to 450 Nm (332 lb-ft), in pair with the company’s low-ratio dual-clutch transmission (PDK).
The sprint from 0 to 62 mph takes 3.4 seconds. The top speed is 315 km/h (196 mph). This model is available to order now (the base price is over 140K euros), deliveries begin next month.
The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport is a racing version to be used in many national and international racing series.
The new Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition has an elegant design and high-quality equipment. The exterior features Satin Gloss Platinum accents, a Porsche logo, standard 21-inch exclusive Design Sport wheels, High-Gloss Black tailpipes and side windows, LED main headlights with matrix beam, adaptive air suspension.
Inside, there are 14-way electrically adjustable comfort seats, the Black décor of brushed aluminum, door sill guards with the Platinum Edition logo, the BOSE Surround Sound system.
Customer deliveries of this edition will start in late January 2022.
The La Auto Show is an important event for Porsche, as is the North American market. In particular, California is the fourth largest market for the brand, which accounted for 8% of all Taycan sales and around 30% within the USA.
