Porsche 911 Called the Most Reliable Car Aged 2-11 Years_photo

TUV Report (German car technical control organization) has rated the Porsche 911 most reliable model after 2-11 years of ownership.

The experts make their regular ratings based on checking about 9 million cars!

Moreover, they test every model at least 500 times before including in TUV report. The cars are collected in groups of several age categories, from 2 to 11 years old.

The 2019 latest TOPs 5 see below.

Percentage near each model means number of serious defects revealed. An average mileage of the cars under study is also shown.

The ratings can help choose a suited vehicle reliable enough (of course, if reliability matters for a person owning a car).

We’d like to emphazise, that the Porsche 911 has become Number One among the most reliable used cars not for the first time.

Cars aged 2-3 years:

  1. Porsche 911 (26,000 km, 2.5%);
  2. Mercedes B-Class (39,000 km, 2.6%);
  3. Mercedes GLK (50,000 km, 2.6%);
  4. Mercedes SLK (29,000 km, 2.8%);
  5. Audi Q3 (44,000 km, 2.9%);

4-5 years old:

  1. Porsche 911 (40,000 km, 3.6%);
  2. Mercedes B-Class (57,000 km, 4.9%);
  3. Audi Q5 (84,000 km, 5%);
  4. Renault Captur (44,000 km, 5.3%);
