Test prototypes of the fourth-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA became prey of car paparazzi several times. Recently they have taken fresh crisp images.
The new GLA was photographed in Stuttgart on city streets. The pictures are clear and informative. The camouflage masks the test car, but prototypes no longer look like LEGO’s replica.
The fourth-generation GLA crossover is not an updated counterpart of the outgoing model, but revolution in design did not happen. The model seems a bit larger and with a higher clearance than its predecessor.
A 2.0-liter turbo engine should be included in the lineup for the United States. In the European market, it will be an alternative to a less powerful 1.3-liter unit.
The debut of the new Mercedes-Benz GLA may take place in Frankfurt this fall. However, the beginning of 2020 seems more realistic.
