This year Opel celebrates its 120th anniversary and presents a memorable special edition of one of its most successful models – the Opel Corsa.
Opel conducts the advertising campaign “Opel. Born in Germany. Made for everyone.”. It is dedicated to the company’s 120th jubilee and based on philosophy of affordable mobility. The German carmaker released a special version – the Opel Corsa “120 Years”.
More than 13.5 million Corsas have been produced since 1982. It is a key model of the brand and the European best-seller.
The “120 Years” model is standardly equipped with Park Pilot and Cruise Control driver assistance systems, heated seats and steering, velour carpets, light-alloy wheels, unique chrome details (“OPEL” and “120 Years” logos on door sills). The motor is a 1.2-liter 70-hp one paired with 5-speed manual transmission. Combined fuel consumption is 5.9-5.8 liters per 100 km (62 miles) according to NEDC or 7.1-6.6 l/100 km (WLTP).
Prices in Germany start from €15,440. Additional packs will cost up to €2,540 extra.
The next-generation Opel Corsa will be launched in a few months’ time. An all-electric variant is also in the pipeline.
