Nissan UK Plant Celebrates The Millionth Nissan Juke Release
8 years ago Nissan started production of the Nissan Juke model, thereby having created a segment of compact SUVs. Today a millionth Juke has come off the assembly line in the UK (Sunderland). On average, every 105 seconds the plant produces one car.
The model of 2018 with all its upgrades and personalization options is as popular as the car of 2010. The Juke is the second crossover made at this plant. It followed the segment’s pioneer Nissan Qashqai.
The Juke NISMO, a premium sports modification, is also included in 1 million produced Jukes. It was launched in 2012 in Sunderland. The sales statistics show that among the buyers of the Juke in Europe the black color for exterior and interior is the most popular.
The Nissan Juke still has a great commercial success. In 2017 in Europe sales exceeded 95,000 cars. The latest update of the model has a new radiator grille with a V-motion dark chrome element, darkened front headlights and turn signal indicators on the exterior mirrors. LED fog lights are now included in the basic equipment of all versions.
16″ and 18″ options are added to the Juke’s wheels lineup of the SE+ and topper trim levels. For the QE+ Perso and LE+ Perso versions wheel with colored inserts are offered.
There are additional decor variants for the interior. The BOSE Personal upscale audio system is available, providing high-quality sound.
The new Juke includes Nissan’s innovative driver assistants, such as an around view monitor (AVM), moving object detection (MOD), lane departure warning (LDW), blind spot warning (BSW).
