The Nissan Rogue is getting a comprehensive redesign.
The 2021 model has appeared in the leaked pictures available on Instagram and online forums.
The carmaker plans to start production in the fall of 2020. This means the small crossover may premiere in the coming months and should go on sale until this year ends.
The new Nissan Rogue looks boxier than the outgoing vehicle. It features a pronounced V-shaped grille and split-level headlights.
The cabin resembles that of the new Sentra and Altima with a dominating tablet-like display of the infotainment system and diamond-quilted leather seats.
The next Rogue will probably share the powertrain with the new Nissan Altima, including a base 2.5-liter 4-cylinder 180-hp inline engine with a continuously variable transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive.
The currently available 2020 Nissan Rogue (oictured) is priced between $25,300 – 33,040. Among its advantages experts call the upscale and comfortable cabin, many standard features, good cargo space and above-average fuel economy. The disadvantage is a feeble engine that drones at high speeds.
When the new 2021 Rogue arrives, we expect it will cost from $26,000.
