The 2022 Versa is available now with a starting price of $15,080. Nissan claims the car’s standard safety suite is one of the best in class.
Nissan’s popular subcompact sedan enters the next model year. The prices for the 2022 Versa have been announced. Customers can choose from three trim levels – S, SV, SR.
They all come with a gasoline 1.6-liter 122-hp four-cylinder engine of the DOHC series, an Xtronic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The base Versa also offers a five-speed manual gearbox. The fuel efficiency of the Xtronic models achieves worth 32/40/35 miles per gallon (city/highway/combined).
The sedan combines a modern-looking exterior with a roomy interior and quite a decent set of standard features for a vehicle of this class, including Nissan Safety Shield 360, a 7.0-inch touchscreen display.
The class-exclusive features include Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Rear Automatic Braking.
One of the advantages of the Nissan Versa’s interior is the very good front headroom and legroom.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices for the 2022 model are the following:
- S (5MT) – $16,055
- S (Xtronic) – $17,725
- SV – $18,865
- SR – $19,465
The prices include a destination charge, but exclude tax and other fees.
