After an official teaser in December, the next second-generation Mercedes CLA is now available on new photos – not spotted this time and fully ready to make its debut at this-week Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
Like the previous model, the car has a coupe-like look due to a sweeping roofline. The automaker seems to apply a well-known ‘Russian Doll’ styling: we could see a similar set of LED taillights.
The new generation four-door CLA took much from the A-Class in and out: a front end, hood, a dashboard with identical digital dials, a MBUX infotainment system, an automatic transmission as well as powertrains.
We expect a kind of mild-hybrid system for the Mk2 model, along with a lineup of gasoline and diesel versions.
A hot AMG 45 variant arrives later, likely with output over 406 hp, leaving room for a less powerful AMG 35 car.
We are about to get the whole official information one of these days, when the new Mercedes-Benz CLA is unveiled at the CES.
