Yesterday Audi unveiled the fourth-generation A3 Sportback.
Online world premiere took place on March 3 at 9:50 a.m. (CET) on Audi MediaTV and Audi social media channels.
Audi launches the 2021 A3 Sportback in Europe with a choice of three engines: a 1.5-liter 110-kW (150 hp) TFSI and 2.0-liter 85-kW (116 hp) or 110-kW (150 hp) TDIs. The all have impressive torque and sophisticated running characteristics.
At start, the engines will be combined with front-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed S tronic with quick shifts. Other engine versions will be added later on, including electrified drive systems (mild-hybrid and plug-in-hybrid) and variants with quattro drive.
Combined fuel consumption in l/100 km (US mpg): 5.1–3.5 (46.1–67.2); combined CO2 emissions in g/km (g/mi): 116–92 (186.7–148.1).
A special-edition model will be offered at launch with exclusive features: matt platinum gray attachments, dark Matrix LED headlights, 18-inch wheels in titanium gray, the S line interior.
The Audi A3 is the most successful model of its class to date. More than 5 million vehicles have been sold.
This month, Audi has started to accept orders for the new A3 Sportback. Deliveries will begin in May 2020. The 1.5 TFSI car costs from 28,900 euros.
